The day starts with Mangal-arati and lively kirttan accompanied by many mridangas.

Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj receives two of his guests of honour: renowned Bengali actress Srimati Madhavi Mukherjee, and film director Sri Sankar Banerjee.

Fourteen buses stand outside Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math to take pilgrims on the forty kilometer journey to Sripat Bamunpara the holy appearance place of Srila Govinda Maharaj.
