Arriving as Swananda Sukhada Kunja, the devotees
have darshan of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur's Murti at his Samadhi Mandir,
and then engage in Kirttan and Hari-katha.
|
Numerous stalwart sannyasis from the various Missions
in the Nabadwip area attend the gathering on this special day of Srila
Bhaktivinoda Thakur's Appearance Festival.
|
Full-house, no doubt, and all are nourished in remembrance
of the Lord and His devotees.
|
The programme goes on well into the evening.
|
On the left side of the main Temple are Srila Bhaktivinoda
Thakur's own Deities of Sri Sri Gaur-Gadadhar.
|
To the right is a separate smaller Temple in remembrance
of Srila Gaura Kishor Das Babaji Maharaj who often came to engage in
bhajan here.
|
To the left is the remembrance Mandir of Sri Krishna
Das Babaji Maharaj, the personal servant and disciple of Srila Bhaktivinoda
Thakur.
|
And soon it is time for the mark of a good Vaishnava
Festival, the distribution of Prasadam to one and all....
