I worship the holy lotus feet of he who perfectly fulfils the most cherished wish of his divine master;who is adorned resplendently with the blessings of his guru-varga; who is adept in all vedic conceptions, both conceivable and inconceivable; who is the faithful follower in the line of Sri Rupa; who is known as Srila Govinda Maharaja; whose beautiful divine figure revels in the mellows of divine love; who is the guru of the entire universe and the bestower of the seed of divine love for the Supreme Lord.

Welcome to the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Sadhu Sangam, Malaysia a branch of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math on the World Wide Web! The Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math is a holy Temple of Pure Devotion, established in 1941 in Sri Nabadwip Dham, India, by His Divine Grace Om Visnupad Sri Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj. Since his departure from this world in 1988, Srila Sridhar Maharaj and the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math with its branches worldwide has been represented by Srila Sridhar Maharaj's chosen successor and dear disciple, our Sevaite-President-Acharya, His Divine Grace Om Visnupad Sri Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj.

To err is human,
To err is inevitable for all,
Being not perfect,
still, no one wants to remain imperfect.

There is an element within all
That is animate
That tends towards perfection.
If it were not so,
We would feel no want at all.

Our tendency towards perfection,
Is certainly very weak and limited:
Otherwise
We could attain the goal at once.

Our limited capacity
And tendency for Perfection
Makes room for

SRI GURU

AND HIS GRACE

The imperfect is not so if it is not in need of help, and that also from beyond itself. The perfect is not perfect, if He cannot assert Himself or help others, and that too, of His own accord. So the guidance to perfection or Absolute Truth is necessarily a function of the Absolute Himself, and the divine agent through whom this function manifest is Sri Guru or the Divine Guide.

tad viddhi pranipatena, pariprasnena sevaya
upadeksyanti te jnanam, jnaninas tattva-darsinah
   Srimad Bhagavad-gita

Ch.4 verse 34, Lord Krishna says:

You will be able to attain all this knowledge by satisfying the enlightened spiritual master with prostrate obeisances, relevant inquiry, and sincere service. Great souls who are most expert in scriptural knowledge and endowed with direct realisation of the Supreme Absolute Truth will teach you that divine knowledge.

yaj jnatva na punar moham, evam yasyasi pandava
yena bhutany asesani, draksyasy atmany artho mayi

   Srimad Bhagavad-gita

Ch. 4 verse 35, Lord Krishna says:

O Pandava, after receiving that knowledge of the truth as imparted by the guru, you will no longer be deluded. You will be able to realise that all species of life, whether man, bird, or beast, are common in their individual identities of spirit soul, or jivatma. Their comparative mundane gradations are only due to external attributes, and they are all situated within Me as effect, Myself being the supreme cause.

We should note the difference between a servant and a trader. Many approach with some trading purpose, but really the devotees should be of a servant character. Prahlada Maharaj said that one who wants something in return and is maintaining his own self-interest, he is also conversing and associating with the sadhus, but his personal interest is there. He is making ‘trade’ with the sadhus. He is thinking, "How much can I gain and how much shall I have to give?" -- separate interest -- but a pure devotee should not have separate interest, rather he should try to move within the interest of the Lord. In whatever position he is, it does not matter, whether a bramachari, a sannyasi, a grihastha, a vanaprastha or any other position, but he must be willing to merge.

You are to eliminate the foreign things from within you then you will find your heart to be a temple of Krishna. With the help of a proper guide search your own heart and you will find Krishna there. This is not a foreign thing to you. Every heart is a temple of the Lord. It is your own thing, it is your home. BACK TO GOD, BACK TO HOME."

Bowing down flat in full dandavat pranams (obeisance) to the Spiritual Masters, OM Vishnupad Sri Srila Bhakti Sunder Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj and the Founder-Acharya OM Vishnupada Paramahamsa Parivrajakacharya-varya Sarva-sastra-siddhanta-vit Astottara-sata-Sri Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj, begging for his grace and guidance in order to carry out our duties to SRI SRI GURU GAURANGA GANDHARVA GOVINDASUNDAR GIRIDHARI GOPALJIU SRI LAKSHMI VARAHADEV and all the sincere and pure devotees, always a servant.

It gives me great pleasure to try to glorify our Guru varga by this small way, hence getting the Malaysian initiated servants together in the family umbrella of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, Kolerganj, P.O. Nabadwip, Dist. Nadia, West Bengal, India.
