While
trying to return from Sri Giriraj's Temple, with accompanying loud,
rolling thunder, Indra reminded the devotees of the deluge he hurled
upon Vrindavan and Sri Govardhan Hill which led to the wonderful Pastimes
of the Sri Annakut Mahotsav.

Soon
the rain abated and noon arati begins to Srila Guru Maharaj and then
to Sri Sri Guru Gauranga Gandharvva Govindasundarjiu. A mountain of
rice and festival preparations are offered to Sri Giriraj here too on
the main altar.

Their
Lordships receive puja, with a special remembrance today for this Sri
Giriraj (in the centre picture above) who came with Srila Guru Maharaj,
Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj, when he established
the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math here in 1943.
