The festival was attended by more than one hundred people, most
of them were devotees. In addition some devotees (around ten)
who had not visited the temple since long ago, were there happily
observing the festival and feeling like they were home again.
The Arotik was performed by Antarjami Prabhu, the kirtan was led
by Hari Kirtan Prabhu. After Tulasi Arotik, Purujit Prabhu and
Antarjami Prabhu talked about Srila Sridhar Maharaj and the disappearance
festival. Then other devotees including Hari Kirtan Prabhu, Hari
Prasadam Prabhu and Syama Gouri Devi Dasi, also spoke about their
experiences and pastimes‚ with Srila Guru Maharaj.
Then a film about Srila Guru Maharaj was shown on a big screen
and everybody was very pleased. Finally we honored a sumptuous
prasadam — all in remembrance of our beloved Divine Master,
Om Visnupad Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj. |
