The festivals begin in the nat-mandir where Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj leads the programme in honour of the Divine Appearance of the founder of the worldwide Sri Chaitanya Math and Gaudiya Maths, Bhagavan Sri Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupad.

Sriman Mahaprabhu and Sri Giriraj then come from Their simhasan within the Samadhi Mandir of Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj, and proceed with sankirttan and blowing of conches to the banks of Sri Govinda Kunda.

Their Lordships and Srila Gurudev board a new boat and sail over to the 'Sriman Mahaprabhu's Divine Water Play and Sri Gupta Govardhan Sri Mandir.'

Abhishek of Sri Giriraj is followed by a fire yajna, bhoga offerings, the first arati and parikramas.
