In befitting surroundings. Today we went to the 'Hermitage,' one of the palaces of Peter the Great and now one of the finest museums in the world. It houses great works of art from many of the famous artists including Rembrandt, Michelangelo, Raphael, Picasso, Matisse, Faberge, Van Gough, Renoir and many others. There are many other exhibits too. The palace was extremely big so we took Srila Gurudev around in a wheel chair. He seemed to really like the ornate architecture in particular.
