One, Summary
- The 'Prema-dvani' or 'ki jaya!' chants.
- By the grace of Srila Guru Maharaj we are
maintaining our spiritual life in Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math. This
day is a very auspicious day.
- Srila Guru Maharaj told us what he wanted
here, though we could not understand at that time, but now we are
seeing the glories of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math.
- In the early days Guru Maharaj got a small
piece of land for us as Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math. He thought this
is enough for spending life, but he expressed his inner desire for
the Math in a sloka:
- Srimach-Chaitanya-Saraswata-Mathavara-udgita-kirtir
jaya-srim...
- Mundane thinkers think it a little Math, what
can it do?
- Later, some godbrothers thought perhaps Guru
Maharaj cannot eat properly because of money problems, since he is
not asking money to anyone. But when this Temple, nat-mandir and some
structures appeared, a particular person asked to Pishima, Srila Bhaktivedanta
Swami Prabhupada's sister, how Chaitanya Saraswat Math is doing? She
cleverly replied, "You cannot conceive the glories of Chaitanya Saraswat
Math! Now Sri Sri Guru-Gauranga Gandharvva Govinda Sundarjiu are there,
and Laksmidevi herself is every day brooming (sweeping) there the
courtyard of Radharani." Srila Guru Maharaj smiled because she did
not say "Sridhar Maharaj's courtyard" but "Radharani's courtyard."
- From the beginning Srila Guru Maharaj said
this is Govinda Kunda, and if we can buy we can make something in
Govinda Kunda. We bought, but a little late. The neighbours did not
want that it will be very big and very nice. They wanted their cows
and buffaloes will take bath here. After twelve to fourteen years
finally we got the opportunity and put up a compound wall.
- Guru Maharaj's desire was that in the middle
there will be a small Temple and Mahaprabhu will go there for Chandan-yatra
and play in a boat and rest there. At that time I could not think
in which way this would be possible, and who would do that? But by
the grace of Lord Gauranga, Govinda Kunda has manifested through the
service of the devotees, mainly Acharyya Maharaj.
- In Vrindavan the kundas are very nicely decorated,
and now you can see the position of Govinda Kunda here is very nice.
- I thought Mahaprabhu will come once or twice
per year and the remainder of the time the Temple will be vacant.
So I meditated as to what shall we do. Bhaktivinoda Thakur said that
Koladwip is Gupta-Govardhan. So I thought, why not Gupta-Govardhan
will be revealed here? And now you are seeing that Giriraj Govardhan
has come.
- Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math is now like a
small city but who will take charge here? Lord Siva has mercifully
appeared here yesterday as Ksetra-pal and he has taken charge.
- In Mayapur, Bhaktivinoda Thakur inaugurated
a Temple of Lord Siva, and there service is going on. Even in Vrindavan
there are four Lord Siva Mandirs. Their pranam mantra is very nice,
'You always bestow mercy as Krsna-prema, Krishna-bhakti. You have
the right to give it, and the right to give it to us....'
- Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead
and Lord Siva is the super servant of Lord Krsna. He is super-Vaisnava.
His position in Vrindavan is so high.
- Siva has so many names and all are so glorious.
He is a very simply merciful Vaisnava. His auspicious presence will
clean all obstacles in the way of divine service of Lord Krsna and
Mahaprabhu. All obstacles will go out by Lord Siva's merciful glance,
and we can happily serve our Supreme Lord.
- Siva holds a variety of positions. His mercy
will always be helpful to us, and even those who are very conditioned
souls will get relief from this illusionary envirnment.
